Job Description

Cornerstone Assisted Living provides independent, assisted living and memory care options for seniors, with services and amenities that promote maximum independence and self-esteem, while offering the guidance and support for daily success.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Cook to join our dedicated and caring team. And would enjoy a $1,000 Sign on Bonus!

Job Description and Duties:

  • Prepare meals with other culinary professionals
  • Handling and preparation of food in accordance with sanitary guidelines, state regulations
  • Preparation of food that is palatable and appetizing in appearance
  • Meeting meal schedules, avoiding food waste and maintain clean work station

Hours:

  • Full-time, 4 days a week and every other weekend and holiday
  • Shift hours:  11:00 am - 6:45 pm

Skills / Requirements

  • Experience with large batch food preparation preferred
  • Able to stand for 8 hours
  • Able to read and follow a recipe
  • Able to communicate with residents, staff and families in English
  • A self-starter who strives for team excellence
