Job Description

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Activities Assistant who is dedicated to caring for our residents in our faith based environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement a variety of fun activities (exercises, bingo, card games, dice games, crafting and more) based on the facility activity schedule
  • Have 1-1 time with residents
  • Prepare special snacks with residents. We love to bake and make special treats!
  • Set-up the tables/rooms for activities and clean-up after all activities
  • Complete required logs/charting

Hours:

  • 11:30 am - 8:00 pm
  • Monday-Friday

Skills / Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lead/facilitate group activities
  • Compassionate, dependable and passionate about working with the elderly
  • 6 Months to one year of activities experience
  • Long Term Care experience also preferred, but will train the right candidate.
